Sweet Talia is one of many rainbow babies that I've photographed, but the first where we've commemorated the significance of the rainbow.

It is understood that the beauty of a rainbow does not negate the ravages of any storm.  When a rainbow appears, it does not mean the storm never happened or that we are not still dealing with its aftermath.  It means that something beautiful and full of light has appeared in the midst of the darkness and clouds.  Storm clouds may still hover, but the rainbow provides a counterbalance of color, energy, and hope.

I feel so fortunate to photograph these daily miracles, and Talia's session was no different.  She was amazing throughout her whole session and we captured so many beautiful poses.  Her parents had ordered a few collages of her adorable little details, and who could blame them?  Those are often my favorite images to capture because they are usually the first thing forgotten.
